Envelopes: A Puzzling Journey Through the Royal Mail by Harriet Russell (New York, Random House, 2005, $16.95) is the result of the British illustrator sending herself elaborately addressed envelopes for years to see if they would arrive; her designs include maps, crossword puzzles and floor plans. She was testing the patience of many postmen as well.
Artetica in Rome alternates between exhibitions of mail art and book art. Situated in Rome at Via dei Marsi 18 in the San Lorenzo section of Rome.
